About Online Click Counter
Online Click Counter is a small set of free counting tools. One shared counter runs every page — what changes is the wording, the defaults and the examples, because someone counting knitting rows and someone counting people through a door want the same button but a different starting point.
Why it exists
Most online counters forget your number the moment the tab closes, cap you at a handful of counters, or ask you to make an account before they will sync anything. That is a lot of friction for a tool whose whole job is to add one to a number. This one saves as you go, gives you as many counters as you want, and never asks who you are.
How it works
- Everything runs in your browser. There is no server holding your counts.
- Counts are written to your browser's local storage after every change.
- Each page keeps its own set of counters, so they do not get mixed up.
- Once the page has loaded it keeps working offline.
- The CSV export is generated on your device and downloaded directly.
What that means for you
The good part: nothing is uploaded, nothing is tracked to an account, and the tool is instant. The trade-off, and it is a real one: your counts live on the device you used them on. They will not appear on your other phone, and clearing your browser data will clear them. If a count matters, export it to CSV.
