The short version
Your counts never leave your device. There are no accounts, no logins and no database holding your numbers. The one thing that is measured is traffic — which pages get opened, and roughly where from — described in full below.
What is stored, and where
Counter names, counts, daily history, your theme choice, your best
speed-test scores, whether the click sound is on and the timer length you
last used are saved in your browser's local storage. That is the complete
list — six kinds of key, all of them beginning occ:.
That storage belongs to your browser on your device. We cannot read it, and
it is not transmitted anywhere. Clearing your browsing data deletes it
permanently.
Information we do not collect
- No name, email address or account of any kind.
- No contents of your counters.
- No advertising profile built from your use. Google Analytics runs with its advertising features and Google Signals switched off, so nothing here feeds ad personalisation and your visit is not joined to a signed-in Google account.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served as static files by our hosting provider. Like nearly all web hosts, they process standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the page requested in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. We do not combine this with anything you do inside the tool.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits, so we can tell which counters people actually use. It records the page you opened, how you got here, your approximate location from your IP address, and your device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not store your full IP address.
It measures pages, not counters. Nothing you type or count inside a tool is sent to Google — there is no code on this site that reads a counter's name, its number or its history and passes it anywhere. Those stay in your browser's local storage, exactly as described above.
Browser extensions that block analytics, and the “Do Not Track” and “Global Privacy Control” settings, all work normally here. Blocking it changes nothing about how the counters behave.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets two cookies in your browser — named
_ga and _ga_… — which exist only to
tell a returning visit apart from a new one. They hold a random number,
not anything about you. Apart from those, the site sets no cookies of its
own; local storage is used for the purpose described above and only for
that.
Advertising
If advertising is introduced in future, this page will be updated before it appears, and it will say plainly which provider is used and what that provider may set on your device.
Children
The tools are suitable for all ages and collect no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
We hold no account, no email address and nothing you have counted, so there is nothing of that kind for us to export or erase on request. You control it directly: clearing your browser storage removes it, and the CSV export lets you keep a copy. The analytics data is aggregate traffic measurement and is not tied to a name, an address or an account, so it cannot be looked up for one person — but you can keep your visits out of it entirely with any analytics blocker.
